RTV EURO AGD is one of the largest retailers of electronic equipment and household appliances. The company ended 2021 with double-digit sales growth and more than 11 billion in revenue.
Due to being one of the leaders in electronics sales in Poland and at the same time one of the largest advertisers on the market, the company's management decided that it needed more precise information when it came to counting customers visiting EURO RTV AGD stores.
Just as companies operating primarily in the online space (e-commerce) need their Google Analytics to measure performance, modern stationary shops need a system that collects data to use in making better business decisions.
The aim of the project, therefore, was to build an analytical system to measure in-store traffic and integrate it with the transactions made by customers, which are entered on the cash registers (and at the same time into the POS system), by the sales staff. This was to lead to an easier measurement of real sales results, in relation to specific hours of working time and number of customers.

With the solution in place, the company is able to make better business decisions as they are based on data, gained on its customers.
This leads to a more effective sales strategy and also improves the optimisation of shop management (e.g. issues such as branch stocking or the number of staff on shift).
The CeDARet system became a hit in the retail market, which resulted in the start of cooperation with the world leader in market research, Ipsos, of which we became the representative in Poland.
The solution created by Inquel is commonly used as a kind of Google Analytics for stationary shops.
